Growing Winchelsea submitted a review of the Winchelsea Pool Revamp with two perspectives, in summary;
1. The short-term revamp to include
- Hot water in the amenities
- Consider heated water in the pool
- Increase operating hours
- Consider the operation hours compared to other rural townships of Winchelsea size
2. The medium to long-term (toward 10,000 population)
- Heated pool water
- Competitive swimming club
- Learn to swim for children
- Exercise classes for all ages
We have had positive conversations with Paul Elshaug Recreation Planner SCS. We have responded to join the Community Reference Group and anticipate positive participation.
