The roses on Winchelsea Railway Platform have received a new lease of life with a much needed prune.

Winchelsea Community Marke, Sunday 4th August 2024, 9am-1pm at the former Winchelsea Shire Hall in the town centre.

Over the coming months our train station will continue its facelift with further beautification
underway.

Growing Winchelsea, together with interested parents, has started a journey to help tackle the challenges our children face at our school today.

Over 30 community members met Mayor Liz Pattison, Surf Coast Shire CEO Robyn Seymour, Cr Adrian Schonfelder with senior staff Chris Pike, Damian Waight and Darryn Chiller to hear about recent developments in Winchelsea.

A stepped grass amphitheatre with flat steps suitable for market stalls, picnics and other uses combined with an enlarged covered deck space which doubles as a stage was identified as an important project in Growing Winchelsea – Shaping Future Growth 2015 strategy.

All aboard was the call on Tuesday 11 June 2024 when Surf Coast Shire Mayor Liz Pattison, CEO Robyn Seymour, Cr Adrian Schonfelder with senior staff Chris Pike, Damian Waight and Darryn Chiller joined John Tebbutt and committee members of Growing Winchelsea together with Tony Phelps Chairman of Community House on the Bendigo Community Bus for a tour of the town.

about one of our most pressing issues – corellas.
