Planning underway for International Women’s Day 2025
A dynamic group of women put their hand up to plan this event which will be possible, thanks to a Health and Wellbeing grant from the Surf Coast Shire and financial support from the Community Bank Winchelsea & District.

Many willing helpers had everything set for a great night of entertainment and families and community members were not disappointed.

In March 2025 the Mud Hut will be the centre of fun and entertainment when Mud Fun comes to
town to help the community install a cob wall around Mud Hut.

Community meet Council

Riverside Amphitheatre
A stepped grass amphitheatre with flat steps suitable for market stalls, picnics and other uses combined with an enlarged covered deck space which doubles as a stage was identified as an important project in Growing Winchelsea – Shaping Future Growth 2015 strategy.
Council on board
All aboard was the call on Tuesday 11 June 2024 when Surf Coast Shire Mayor Liz Pattison, CEO Robyn Seymour, Cr Adrian Schonfelder with senior staff Chris Pike, Damian Waight and Darryn Chiller joined John Tebbutt and committee members of Growing Winchelsea together with Tony Phelps Chairman of Community House on the Bendigo Community Bus for a tour of the town.
