A 5 Pillars Project:
People, Place, Planet, Prosperity, Participation
Winchelsea Christmas Carols
Christmas is just around the corner and what better way to herald its arrival than for the community to come together in song and celebrate the birth of Jesus.
PROJECT OVERVIEW:
To hold Christmas Carols to celebrate the birth of Jesus on 7 December 2024 at Winchelsea Primary School Oval, weather permitting or at Leisure Time Centre in the
event of rain between 6 – 9 pm, engaging the community of Winchelsea.
Santa will be present to hand out lollies, courtesy of Winchelsea Lions Club. It is planned to have local entertainment that engages our children. Rob Davies will be MC and we will showcase local vocalists, dance & music community groups.
Local business will be supported with food & drink vans present. Candles kindly donated by the Winchelsea Primary School will provide a unique atmosphere.
ENTERTAINMENT:
Thanks to a grant from the Community Bank Winchelsea and District local entertainer Nic Dacomb of Krazy Koala Entertainment & The BeBop Circus will be performing. He will engage and entertain the children with his hilarious puppet show with catchy songs that everyone can dance to.
There is lots more entertainment planned for the whole family to enjoy and participate in.
WHAT TO BRING:
Bring along a gold coin to support the fundraising efforts of the school.
Bring a chair or a blanket and join the festivities. If the weather turns bad the event will move to the LTC (Leisure Time Centre) ie. sports hall.
