Businesses and Community Invited to Be Part of the Magic: Christmas in Winchelsea 2025
The spirit of Christmas is set to shine brighter than ever across Winchelsea, with a program of festive events designed to celebrate community, creativity, and connection.
Organised by Growing Winchelsea and partnering with, Winchelsea Men’s Shed the Carols by the Barwon Planning Committee, and the Winchelsea Lions Club, the Christmas in Winchelsea 2025 program includes the Lions Christmas Lights Competition, Elf on the Shelf Trail, Twinkle Trees on Main, and the ever-popular Carols by the Barwon.
This year’s celebrations have been significantly boosted thanks to the Winchelsea Star, whose generous sponsorship and promotional partnership will help showcase the festivities and local businesses through its dedicated Christmas feature and community coverage. The Community Bank, Winchelsea & District is also proudly continuing its support with Twinkle Trees on Main, helping to light up the town for all to enjoy.
“This is about more than decorations and carols,” said John Tebbutt, President of Growing Winchelsea. “It’s about building a sense of belonging — of giving back, supporting each other, and celebrating what makes Winchelsea such a special place. Your sponsorship will help bring people together, attract visitors to town, and strengthen our local economy while spreading Christmas joy.”
Businesses, individuals and organisations that join as sponsors or prize partners will enjoy benefits beyond recognition. They’ll be part of an event that:
- Promotes community giving and goodwill
- Strengthens local connectedness and pride
- Attracts visitors and shoppers to Winchelsea
- Showcases local business to new audiences
Sponsorship opportunities start from just $100, with tailored options available for Major Event Sponsors, Entertainment Sponsors, Prize Partners, and Community Supporters.
All sponsors will receive acknowledgment across printed materials, social media, and during events, as well as inclusion in the Winchelsea Star’s Christmas feature — reaching readers across the district.
The celebrations will culminate in a Family BBQ and Awards Presentation on Saturday 21 December 2025, bringing together sponsors, competition winners, and the community to wrap up the season in festive style.
