It is with deep sadness that we heard about the passing of Mike Tucker, a well-known and respected figure in the Winchelsea community.

The highly anticipated Future Events 4 Winchelsea Forum will take place on Monday, 11 August 2025 at Eastern Reserve Winchelsea.

Growing Winchelsea’s Community Forum about the Windfall Gains Tax, the Place Plan and other topics of interest – Monday 14 July, 6pm at the Senior Citizens Club in Harding Street.

Many willing helpers had everything set for a great night of entertainment and families and community members were not disappointed.

Over 80 individuals and organisations have been contacted for constructing the mud bricks and installing the wall and also being part of week-long activities to celebrate this final construction phase.

In March 2025 the Mud Hut will be the centre of fun and entertainment when Mud Fun comes to
town to help the community install a cob wall around Mud Hut.
